And for me, I’ve found that social distancing and staying at home has actually made it harder for me to find the isolation my introverted soul needs to recharge—so I actually wake up before anyone else to get a little alone time. The pets have been fed
and they’re back in bed.
So now begins my sacred hour,
quiet time to recharge my power.
No teli, computer, or telephone,
I love this time when I’m all alone.
My sixty minutes may fly and go
but I’ll have it again tomorrow, I know.
